Lasting Power of Attorney (LPAs)
Do you need to give someone else authority to manage your affairs when you’re not available to do so? If so, powers of attorney can assist with this issue. An ordinary power of attorney is a legal document authorising one or more people to handle your financial affairs. It’s only valid while you still have the mental capacity to make your own decisions.

Court of Protection
A deputy is an individual appointed by the Court of Protection to make decisions on behalf of a loved one who lacks the capacity to make the decisions themselves. A deputy may be appointed to make decisions about a person’s property and finances or a person’s health and welfare.
